Marlar, one of Eden's graduates, designed and then went on to train the women and girls coming to the drop-in centers to handcraft these beautiful bags. The women and girls make these bags in a safe and loving environment where they also receive trauma counseling, creative therapies, and other forms of essential support.

Knots of Freedom is a remarkable story of escape. It highlights how we can escape the corruption that is in the world by disreputable desires. 

Tho Tho was the eldest of her siblings. Out of desperation, her family believed the lies and false promises of a local agent. They sent Tho Tho with the local agent to a factory which in reality was a home where for months she would be raped by a man and enslaved to his family. 

Her escape was not an instant rescue, it took months of accumulating scrap materials and knotting them together, to finally descend and have her feet touch freedom.
